Luciano Pagani & Angelo Perversi were both born in 1950 and they graduated in Architecture at Milan Polytechnic. In the mid eighties they founded the associated studio Luciano Pagani and Angelo Perversi, offering an integrated service for architecture, product design and lighting engineering projects.
The studio’s most important architectural works include the Roman offices of the La Repubblica newspaper, the Corriere della Sera offices (Milan and Rome), the Gazzetta dello Sport offices and the Italian branch offices of Hewlett-Packard.
The studio’s special attention to the link between architecture and light has led these two architects to create numerous projects for art galleries, museums and public buildings.
On a product design level, the studio works with many big names in international design.
In 2000 they designed the Thor lamps for FontanaArte, featuring a very original curved diffuser in blown glass.
They have won 2 Compasso d’Oro awards. Since 1999 they have taught degree course in Industrial Design at the Faculty of Architecture at Milan Polytechnic.
