Claesson Koivisto Rune is one of the most internationally acclaimed Swedish architect and design studios and was founded in Stockholm in 1995 by University College of Arts classmates Marten Claesson, Eero Koivisto and Ola Rune in. They started as an architectural office but like Scandinavian masters before them, Claesson Koivisto Rune became multi-disciplinary, practicing both architecture and design with the same priority and working with many international companies and clients.
Their work has earned numerous Swedish and international design awards and, among other distinctions, Claesson Koivisto Rune were honoured by being the first Swedish architects ever to be exhibited in the international section of the Venice Architecture Biennale 2004.
